SUCCESS IS ALL ABOUT ACCOMPLISHING WHAT YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE. IT'S A PERSONAL MISSION. FOR EACH OF US, SUCCESS LOOKS REMARKABLY DIFFERENT: SCORING A NEW JOB. SETTING UP A CHARITY. HAVING A BABY. MAKING A MILLION DOLLARS. LIVING SIMPLY. RUNNING A MARATHON.
THE PATH TO PERSONAL VICTORY ISN'T ALWAYS EASY, IN FACT, IT RARELY IS. THE CHALLENGE IS WHAT MAKES THE REWARD SO WORTHWHILE. SUCCESS TAKES COURAGE. IT REQUIRES BRAVERY TO BECOME THE PERSON YOU BELIEVE YOU WERE BORN TO BE AND TO TAKE CONSISTENT ACTION TO REACH WHERE YOU KNOW YOU'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO Go.
IT ISN'T ALWAYS COMFORTABLE TO STEP INTO YOUR POWER. I STRUGGLED WITH THIS PERSONALLY FOR QUITE A WHILE. BUT ONCE YOU DO, I CAN PROMISE YOU WON'T LOOK BACK. YOU'LL NEVER EVER 'SETTLE' AGAIN, BECAUSE A SWITCH HAS BEEN FLICKED. YOU SUDDENLY REALISE YOU'RE STRONG ENOUGH AND SMART ENOUGH TO DO WHAT YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO. THE FIRE IN YOUR BELLY HAS BEEN LIT. YOU'RE FINALLY AWARE OF YOUR OWN POTENTIAL AND READY OR NOT, HERE YOU GO!
BELIEVING THAT YOU ARE CAPABLE IS ESSENTIAL TO ACHIEVING WHAT YOU SET OUT TO DO. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, HOW WILL ANYONE ELSE? SUCCESS STARTS WITHIN. LET YOUR INNER PIONEER SHOUT LOUDER THAN YOUR INNER CRITIC. IN THE TOUGH TIMES, YOU'LL NEED TO DRAW ON THIS, TO TRUST IN YOUR ABILITY TO STAY STRONG, TO OVERCOME DOUBT AND FEAR, TO BE RESILIENT AND TO KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU GET THERE. IT ALL STARTS WITH YOU - SO CONVINCE YOURSELF YOU CAN DO IT MY FRIEND. NO. MATTER. WHAT.
ONCE YOUR MINDSET IS SWITCHED TO 'SUCCESS', YOU NEED AN EFFECTIVE GAME PLAN. WHAT STRATEGIES WILL YOU USE TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR GOALS? I'VE SPENT SOME TIME REFLECTING ON HOW I'VE SUCCESSFULLY ACHIEVED GOALS THROUGHOUT MY LIFE AND DEVISED A BLUEPRINT TO HELP ME OUT MOVING FORWARD. I ALSO LIKE TO ANALYSE HOW PEOPLE I LOOK UP TO REACHED WHERE THEY ARE NOW AND LEARN FROM THEIR WINS, TOO.
I want to share some of my top STRATEGIES to support YOU, SUCCESS SEEKER:
1. Look for the opportunity in every situation. It's there. When you find it - seize it. Zoom out and try looking at things from different perspectives if you find you're struggling with this one.
2. Be bold - don't let your fears limit you or your doubt ruin you. Trust in your ability and take a big. brave. step (or leap!) in the direction you want to go. Then ... consistently keep on stepping. It will add up.
3. Use your strengths daily. Share your natural gifts and talents with the world and maximise your potential to be successful by being exactly who you are.
4. Surround yourself with successful and inspiring people. They are going to walk your journey with you, guide you, lift you, support you and inspire you.
5. Do things differently. Don't replicate what's always been done, Create a new approach, find new ways to innovate and be adaptable. Pioneer your own path.
6. Never stop learning. Constantly educate yourself, ask questions, learn from others, try new things and and take time to reflect so you can find a lesson in all that you do. Learn something from all of your experiences - good or bad.
7. Be proactive. Plan to succeed and keep taking consistent, daily action towards the meaningful goals you've set yourself. Visualise the goal regularly and commit to taking the inspired action required to make your wildest dreams into a reality.
8. Be resilient. Accept that life has it's ups and downs, challenges and triumphs - learn to ride the rollercoaster, don't fight it and don't give up or step off early. Celebrate your successes and learn to bounce back from adversities, they both have a big part to play in your journey.
9. Create Balance in your life. Passionately follow your dreams to achieve your goals, but know when it's time to switch off and relax, too. Make the time to live, to experience a balanced, healthy life and share it with those close to you. Appreciate what you have. Make sure you have time for fun, relaxation, happiness and self-care - they are essential to your wellbeing and contribute greatly to you achieving success.
10. Be kind. Take pleasure in helping others achieve success and support them on their journey. Serve something bigger than yourself that has meaning to you. This generosity will make it's way back to you in time and serve you well when you least expect it and most need it.
I WISH YOU WELL AS YOU PASSIONATELY PURSUE ALL THAT'S IMPORTANT TO YOU. ONE BONUS TIP I'D LIKE TO SHARE IS ABOUT TIMING.
… SUCCESS TAKES TIME, ALMOST ALWAYS A LOT LONGER THAN YOU THINK.
BE PATIENT, PIONEERS. SUCCESS IS COMING, SO STICK WITH IT.
